Waldorf Hilton

The Waldorf Hilton, originally known simply as the Waldorf Hotel, is a famous five star hotel operated by Hilton Hotels, located in the West End of London at Aldwych in the City of Westminster.

The hotel was built in 1908. After a £35 million refurbishment completed in 2005 most of the interiors are in an early 21st century contemporary style.

In 1893 a hotel with the same name, The ‘Waldorf Hotel’, was founded in New York City; it later merged with the competing Astoria Hotel to become the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
